The 2019 Women’s GC World Championship’s was completed on Saturday with an all Egyptian final. Soha Mostafa beat Manal Khoudeir in the final 7-1, 5-7, 7-3, 7-4.
Jenny Clarke was the top New Zealander finishing fourth after falling in the last game to another Egyptian, Iman El Faransawi, 5-7, 4-7.
Other notable New Zealand finishes included Dallas Cooke winning the Shield after being beaten in the second round of the Knock-Out. Eleanor Ross was the runner-up in the Bowl. While, Phyllis Young bounced back after missing the knock-out stages to win the Plate Event.
