New Zealand is renowned for its beautiful landscape and scenery and we are lucky enough to have a number of croquet clubs around the country that get to take full advantage of this.
But what about playing a game of croquet from the top of a mountain?
That’s exactly what Kristian Reid and Alex Blair set off to do on the 20th of November. On a beautiful Friday afternoon, they backed up their equipment and set off from the Whakapapa car park. After climbing to an altitude of 2,600m, they reached the summit plateau. The destination for what is believed to be the highest unofficial game of croquet in New Zealand.
